Cally Skalko, Licensed Therapist & Owner
Hello! My name is Cally Skalko and I am a licensed therapist by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. I have grown in my journey while exploring and experiencing many cultures in 19 countries worldwide. My life has been filled with honor and blessing. I have mentored youth and their families on the Akimel O’odham Reservation, taught students ages K-8 as a public educator, directed and trained teachers in birth through school age childcare facilities, and opened my home and heart to six amazing young people as their foster mom (“auntie/Tia").
I work with clients of all ages (children/adolescents/adults), couples, families and groups, striving to empower them through individualized treatment goals. Therapy includes a variety of modalities and skills in sessions ranging from REBT, CBT, DBT, Reality Therapy, Substance Use and Addiction Counseling, Trauma Therapy and Animal Assisted Therapy.
My passion as a therapist is guiding and supporting my clients toward peace and a holistic life of LOVE. Simply defined by loving themselves, others, and their higher power in a way that manifests healing and lasting change.

WHAT KIND OF COUNSELING IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Individual Counseling
One-on-one sessions allow the client and therapist to build rapport while identifying the best treatment styles. The number of sessions and types of therapies depend on many factors, and we discuss the options and recommended treatment plan with new clients during the first visit.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling can be very intimidating, however it can also be very beneficial to those considering marriage or who may be experiencing challenges in their relationships. The role of the therapist is to act as an unbiased mediator creating a safe space for expressing feelings, needs and concerns. Privacy and a non-judgmental environment are important in making both parties feel comfortable.
Family Counseling
The definition of family is broad, but one thing that remains common to all is that many different personalities, priorities and communication styles can clash and cause conflict. Whether you're experiencing struggles as a parent, or hoping to address issues with siblings or in-laws, family counseling can help to bridge gaps and create more healthy relationships with those you are close to.
